As mentioned in our previous two articles, click here, Jake Paul is changing the game of boxing. He’s bringing more viewers, fans, money, and overall entertainment to the sport. We were all questioning how much he made off of his recent fight against Nate Robinson, former NBA Player, as the co-main event for the Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones Jr. fight.

Just yesterday Jake Paul spoke to ESPN MMA. They discussed how he got to where he is, his future, and the winnings of the fight. Jake Paul did not feel comfortable giving out the exact number, but he stated “Over 8-figures” which means $10 million dollars or more. Making this much money just for one fight sounds ridiculous! But it is not, and this is why!

Jake Paul’s deal was not just a straight fight deal where the contract says how much they both receive and how much extra for a win, KO (knockout) etc. Instead, his deal was based on the back end of how the event performed. The more viewers for the Pay-per-view event means the more money for Jake. What a lot of people do not know is Jake Paul is actually an early investor in Triller (the platform that hosted the fight). Jake Paul has been a part of Triller for a long time now and has made many early investments with them. Therefore, this $10 million is not just a flat fight contract, instead, it is believable when we add all of the investments together. Adding the fight money itself, back-end performance bonuses, and stock increase we can easily come to a total of over $10 million!
